February 9th, 2010 Little Tikes Classic Castle
I finally got the Little Tikes Playground, and here is our quick overview of my impression. It took just around 10 minutes to line up all the pieces. There were twenty six steps in total and my brother helped me at step 5. All told, it was quite straightforward to put together. Putting it together was finished in under forty minutes.
Assembly isn’t quite as simple as line up and click into place, as a few pieces had to be coaxed into its place using a rubber mallet. The tunnel was tough, since the holes did not align. To complete the step, we simply used a screwdriver on the other hole to coax the pieces to line up.
Of course, as soon as my children saw the play set, they immediately jumpend on the playset and entertained themselves till night. I don’t know how the neighbor’s children found out, but they were all over it as well. Little Tikes recommends the play set to be for children ages eighteen months to seven years. The playhouse is large enough so even fattie kids should be able to fit just fine.
Beneath the platforms, the little munchkins can imagine a base. About three kids can fit. I was thinking about purchasing a play house but it seems that we won’t have to.I am rather happy with it. You may want to consider rubber mats if you are going to situate the set on concrete.
I feel it may come down to the Little Tikes Climb and Slide Castle. The size of the play set seems to be just right. It also looks easy enough to move in and out of the house.Useful when bad forces everyone to hang out inside.
